Sheepwell at Strang Manor Farm

The approach to the design of the Cart Shed at Manor Farm allowed the fine timber roof structure to be retained and simply refurbished. The proposal maintained an open area to the centre of the barn so that the overall space and structure of the barn can be seen and appreciated. Raised upper levels were located between existing trusses, allowing the original structure to remain unaltered and provide a second living space from which to appreciate the views and surrounding countryside. Sheepwell is available to hire as a holiday let.
